CHRIST APOSTOLIC UNIVERSITY COLLEGE GETS NEW COUNCIL CHAIRMAN AND PRESIDENT

Christ Apostolic University College (CAUC) has appointed Professor Kwame Boasiako Omane-Antwi, who brings over 40 years of experience as a university lecturer, as the new Chairman of its Governing Council.

Also a chartered accountant, the professor’s appointment puts him in office to take over from Professor Geoffrey Emi-Reynolds, who has also been newly appointed President of the university college.

Both professors declared their intentions to make CAUC synonymous with excellence in education.

The newly appointed Council Chairman, Professor Kwame Boasiako Omane-Antwi, emphasized his personal commitment to the growth of Christ Apostolic University College (CAUC), stating that the institution would be a top priority for him.

“My main vision for the university college is to make it competitive,” he said. “This can be achieved through a well-structured program portfolio, supported by adequate infrastructure and facilities, as well as qualified teaching and administrative staff who meet the standards set by the Ghana Tertiary Education Commission (GTEC).”

He further assured stakeholders that the university college would intensify efforts to gain independence from its mentor institutions and secure full accreditation and the rights to operate as a fully-fledged university.

Highlighting the importance of good governance and financial sustainability, Professor Omane-Antwi called on shareholders, individuals, and organizations with a vested interest in CAUC’s development to continue offering their unwavering support.

He concluded by reminding all stakeholders that with dedication and hard work, the university college’s goals are well within reach the aim of the university college.
