The Ministers Wives Association of the Christ Apostolic Church International (Greater Accra branch) has on the 23rd of November, 2020 organized a one day prayer session to intercede for Ghana. The program which was dubbed “Woman, Stand Up Intercede”, is a prayer session to sustain the peace of Ghana before, during and after the 7th December polls.
Inspiration for this program was derived from Esther 41:14 – 15 “For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father’s family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to your royal position for such a time as this? ”
In an interview with CACITV, Mrs. Stella Yeboah, the first lady of the church, indicated that the program will not be a one off event but will be made a regular event to pray for the nation, it’s leadership and citizens, the clergy and the members of the church.
Mrs. Josephine Amponsah Frimpong, who is the second lady of the church, also explained that the program is not open to all, due to the COVID-19 protocols but hinted plans to extend it to other regions of the country.
