“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” (John 14:27)

Beloved, there is no perfect peace anywhere except in Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He is the giver of perfect peace (Philippians 4:7).

The peace of the world does not provide the divine peace that we need. It only leads to a troubled heart and fear, because it is man’s way of providing peace for himself.

Beloved, the presence of security personnel cannot provide you with enough security even though it is good to have them. The world does not need only the presence of human security. It needs the peace giver whose name is Jesus Christ. His peace overcomes a troubled heart and fear of all kinds (John 6:53).

Ask Jesus Christ to come into your life now, if you don’t already have Him in your life, so that you can have peace with God. When this peace is resident in your spirit,

a. you will be at peace with yourself

b. you will not be tormented by fear, and

c. you will make tremendous progress in your life.
Hallelujah! Glory to the King of kings!

My Dear LORD Jesus Christ, I bless Your name for the peace You give. Indeed, it is perfect peace that overcomes a troubled heart and fear. I accept You as Lord and personal Savior of my life in order to enjoy Your peace. Please use me to preach the gospel—to bring others to also enjoy Your peace. Amen!
