“Being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:” (Philippians 1:6)
When a person becomes born again, God begins to do a good work in his or her life. What the child of God has to do is
a. to identify the good work God is doing in his or her life
b. and be confident in Christ for that good work.
Being able to identify that good work prompts one to praise God.
Beloved, the good works that God is doing in the life of His children are many. It may not be the same for everybody. If He has given you the ability to sing, be confident to minister to Him and to the healing of souls of many in the church and society.
If yours is the ability to teach, do it in the house of God and in society to bring people’s mind to understand the good news (Romans 12:7).
Whatever the good work may be, do not look down upon it. Nurture it and let it be a blessing to someone, and God will keep promoting you from glory to glory.
Dear beloved, have you identified the good work in you? If you are finding it difficult to identify, then ask the Holy Spirit to help you; He will gladly assist you (John 16:13).
After you have found it, cooperate with Him till the good work He has started is completed.
Prayer Point: My precious Father, thank You for beginning a good work in me. I give You all my attention and cooperation till it is completed, for many to see it and draw closer to You in Jesus’ Name. Amen!
